Q: What is EV Charger?

A:   An electric vehicle charging station is an element in an infrastructure that supplies electric energy for the recharging battery of electric vehicles.

Q: What does it mean by EVSE?

A:   The EVSE mean is Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment which supplies the electric energy for recharging the battery of electric vehicles.

Q: How many types of EV Chargers are available?

A:   There are two types of EV Chargers.
(1) AC EV Charger
(2) DC EV Charger

Q: What is AC EV Charger?

A:   This AC EV Charger is also known by Public Metered AC outlet which provides AC input to the vehicles which has on board chargers. AC supply maximum output is of 15A and maximum output power of 3.3kW. This is slow charger for low powered vehicles.

Q: What is DC EV Charger?

A:   DC types of chargers are the fast charger. These types of chargers are also known by off-board chargers. The DC chargers are divided in two different levels as Level 1 and Level 2.
Level 1: Output Voltage 48V/72V with power of 10kW/15kW and maximum current is 200A
Level 2: Output Voltage is up to 1000V with power of 30kW/150kW.

Q: How does Electric charger work?

A:    Any electric car that uses batteries needs a charging system to recharge the batteries. The charging system has two goals:
(A) To pump electricity into the batteries as quickly as the batteries will allow
(B) To monitor the batteries and avoid damaging them during the charging process.

Q: What types of connector use in EV Charger Station?

A:   As per BEVC-001 protocol of Govt. of India we use GB/T in our charger.

Q: How many types of connectors are there?

A:   There are several types of connectors and following are commonly use:

Q: Do all electric vehicles have a common connector?

A:   The Society of Automotive Research Association of India has declared a uniform connector standard GB/T for both the Level 1 and Level 2 Chargers.

Q: How much time does it take to charger a vehicle?

A:   Charging time depend on the capacity of battery and voltage of system. With our DC Fast charger it will take 1 to 2 hours to charge the full car and with AC slow charger it will take 8 to 9 hours.

Q: Is DC Chargers available for commercial use?

A:   Yes DC charger is available for the commercial use.

Q: What’s the procedure of Payment?

A:   You can pay through BHIM, Bharat QR or with your bank account attached to your account.
B.Prepaid RFID cards are also available through which you can pay.

Q: Is it safe to charge a vehicle with passenger inside?

A:   Yes it’s safe to charge the vehicle while you are sitting in the car. However it is advisable to remove passenger while charging as an extra safety and precaution procedure.

Q: How can I search for the location of Charging Station?

A:   By using our application you can able to search for your nearer charger station.

Q: How can we charge the vehicle? Is there any procedure to start the charging session?

A:   We provide mobile application in which users requires to registers them self’s. Successful registered users can authorized and start charging process using QR code scanner of our mobile application.

Q: Is it possible to disconnect a electric vehicle before completing the charging?

A:   Yes Of course you can disconnect the vehicle before completing the charging using our mobile application.

Q: Will the battery get affected if I disconnect the charging session in between?

A:   No the battery will not get damage it’s similar like unplugging the mobile phone from the charger.

Q: Does power failure affect the battery?

A:   No the power failure will not affect the battery as we have used the sophisticated electronic devices to ensure sufficient protection and smoother operation.

Q: Can I use AC and DC charging at the same time?

A:   No you cannot use both the charger at a same time. Either you can use AC Slow charger or DC Fast charger.

Q: Is your product according to the Bharat Protocol?

A:   Yes it meets and exceeds with the specification of the Bharat protocols.
